Individual

Tested Logic You Can Still Adjust

Signova trades up to 19 symbols in parallel. For each symbol, several entry-logic modules analyze the markets and execute trades. While the trading logic has been refined and tested over years, Signova still gives you the option to manually enable or disable individual symbols whenever you want.

Risk Management Made Easy

While most traders struggle most with risk management, with Signova this challenge comes down to just a few dropdowns and input fields. It handles the heavy lifting in the background, your only task is to adjust the risk level, maximum volume size, and, if you wish, the maximum number of open trades overall or per symbol. With these simple adjustments you can lower your risk to a bare minimum or max out performance however you like. And if you'd rather not touch it, no problem: Signova's default settings are already perfectly tuned.

Signova doesn't rely on static logic alone. It continuously analyzes the market environment, breaking news, and upcoming high-impact events in real time, and reacts to them as they unfold. When volatility or uncertainty spikes, Signova can automatically scale back or fully pause its trading logic to reduce exposure during unpredictable swings. Once conditions stabilize, it resumes seamlessly to look for the next opportunity. The aim: more measured exposure when conditions look favorable, and reduced exposure when they don't, all without you lifting a finger.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything You Need to Know

The minimum account equity varies depending on your chosen Signova variant (Light, Standard, Premium). We distinguish between a hard minimum and a recommended optimum. Each Signova variant is a well-balanced trading system following standard risk and money management principles. A substantial minimum amount is absolutely required to prevent excessive account strain and ensure that potential drawdowns don't deplete your capital.
Signova offers three subscription tiers: Light, Standard, and Premium. Each tier has a minimum and an optimum account balance. The higher the tier, the more trades Signova can open simultaneously, resulting in greater diversification and performance potential. You can view your current tier and balance thresholds directly in the tank indicator on the home screen.
Signova features a convenient risk selector setting. This allows you to apply a multiplier to the predefined relative risk levels. For example, if a trade is nominally set to risk 0.66% of account equity (normal risk), you can adjust this through the risk selector. The 'Extreme' setting multiplies the nominal risk by 3 (3 x 0.66% = 1.98%), while 'High' risk applies a 2x multiplier (2 x 0.66% = 1.22%). Naturally, higher risk leads to larger drawdowns but also greater potential gains. Think of it as a performance booster or limiter for your trading system.
Signova trades fully automatically. You only need time once to activate the system. After that, the trading system works independently and automatically. Automated trading helps remove the in-the-moment emotional decisions that often affect manual traders, because the system simply follows its predefined rules.
Yes, continuous operation is required for uninterrupted trading. However, we offer Virtual Private Server (VPS) configuration services as a solution. A VPS is a cloud-based computer that runs on a remote server, allowing you to access its desktop through your browser from anywhere, anytime. Your trading system runs 24/7 on the VPS while your personal computer can be turned off. To get started, read our Forex VPS starting guide.
Yes. Signova works with any broker that offers MetaTrader 4 or MetaTrader 5, so you can keep your existing trading account or open a new one with the broker of your choice. Keep in mind that broker quality still affects your results: tight spreads, fast and fair execution, and reliable servers all help Signova perform at its best. Many brokers offer unsustainably high spreads or perform unethical stop-outs that can damage performance, so choose carefully. If you'd like a recommendation, take a look at our broker comparison.
You can access the money in your trading account at any time. We have no contact with it.

Unlike other investment vehicles, your capital is not tied up. You can request a withdrawal from your broker, deposit additional capital, or stop trading at any time.
Your broker, always. Your funds are deposited with your broker and remain there at all times. Signova never holds, receives, or transfers your money. It only sends trade instructions on your behalf. You can deposit, withdraw, or close your trading account directly through your broker whenever you want.
Absolutely! We provide documentation to ensure your success. Our manual walks you through the initial setup process step-by-step.
Sure! Complete transparency is fundamental to our approach. Our inside article reveals Signova's complete trading logic, strategy implementation, and decision-making processes. Thanks to our proprietary Expert Advisor Builder technology, we can share this detailed information while maintaining intellectual property protection that prevents unauthorized replication of our systems.
Our algorithm replicates how professional entities trade by running 160+ strategies in parallel. Some are profitable, some are not, and through self-adaptation the system removes underperformers and creates new ones on demand. It is not just one algorithm, it is an army of specialized traders operating inside your platform. Just as important is how usable Signova is: it connects to any existing MetaTrader 4 or 5 account, replaces overloaded trading terminals with a clean, multilingual interface, and lets you keep the tested logic as-is or fine-tune individual symbols yourself. Risk management comes down to a few simple sliders, every trade is fully transparent in the built-in trade history, and an AI-powered news filter automatically scales back exposure around high-impact events. Once set up, it runs start-and-forget, fully built for stable 24/7 operation.
We use leverage to amplify the returns of non-leverage based investing. Traditional investment funds typically target 8-12% annual returns without leverage. By applying sophisticated risk management with 1:100 to 1:200 leverage on carefully selected trades, the backtests reached 121% annually while applying strict drawdown controls (hypothetical results, not indicative of future results). This approach is designed to capture returns from smaller market movements that would otherwise provide minimal returns. Leverage increases both potential gains and potential losses.
Trading a single symbol typically involves high risk and significant drawdown. By automatically trading 19 symbols across multiple timeframes simultaneously, Signova applies a diversified, risk-managed approach across markets.
Absolutely not! We specifically avoid martingale and grid systems that most others use. Our strategies are built on standard industry trading techniques with proper chart analysis and risk management. We minimize indicator usage and focus on real-time chart analysis to prevent delayed entries.
Signova exclusively trades forex on H1 timeframes with D1 trend validation. This includes all major currency pairs such as EURUSD, EURGBP, USDCHF, and approximately 15 minor symbols. This approach ensures proper portfolio diversification across multiple markets.
Signova is a sophisticated, well-balanced trading system that adapts to the unique characteristics of each currency pair and prevailing market conditions. High-probability trading setups receive larger position sizes, while lower-probability setups use smaller positions. This dynamic volume allocation is automatically calculated based on statistical analysis and symbol-specific factors. Manual adjustment of these values is not recommended, as it could compromise Signova's carefully optimized risk management framework and overall balance.
This is intentional behavior and a key feature of Signova's design. Since different trading modules analyze market conditions with varying parameters and timeframes, they often trigger entries at slightly different moments during the same market setup. Signova uses this through position building, gradually accumulating a larger position to pursue a better average entry price. This is a sophisticated scaling-in strategy commonly used by professional traders. Additionally, spreading entries across multiple smaller orders reduces execution risk, minimizes slippage, and prevents large single orders from moving the market against your position.
This is by design and reflects Signova's disciplined approach to trading. Operating on the H1 timeframe, Signova prioritizes quality over quantity. Rather than chasing marginal setups or reacting to every market fluctuation, the system patiently waits for high-probability trading conditions that meet its strict criteria. Extended periods without trades are not only normal but actually helpful, as they help avoid the capital erosion that comes from overtrading and false entries. This patience is a hallmark of disciplined, professional trading and is central to Signova's long-term approach.
For backtesting, we exclusively use MetaTrader 5 with real tick data and true spread. Each strategy is evaluated over a 5-year timespan with a medium spread profile. This is designed to provide high accuracy and to test the functionality of our algorithms under realistic conditions. Backtest results are hypothetical and not indicative of future results.
No. By design, Signova avoids traditional technical indicators like moving averages, MACD, or RSI that are prone to overfitting. Instead, every trading module relies on price action and market structure analysis, support and resistance levels, candlestick strength, and range dynamics. Stop-loss and take-profit levels are calculated using statistical average swing heights that adapt to current market conditions. This architecture ensures strategies continuously adjust to new market environments in real-time, rather than being optimized for past data. This fundamental approach minimizes overfitting risk while maintaining robust performance across different market conditions.
No. Past performance, including backtested performance, is not indicative of future results, and live trading results will differ. We conduct all tests using premium tick data with actual historical spreads, which helps reduce the "garbage in, garbage out" problem common with lower-quality backtests. Real-world factors such as slippage, execution variability, and evolving market dynamics mean live results commonly fall well short of backtest figures. Our backtests serve as a stress test of the design rather than a promise of any particular outcome.
You never have to download or install updates by hand. When we improve a trading module or adjust risk parameters, Signova detects the new version and notifies you in the app. Before anything changes, Signova asks for your consent; once you agree, it applies the update and restarts cleanly so the new version takes effect. Nothing is updated in the background without your approval, so you stay in control of when changes are applied.
Yes, you can modify and close trades at any time. While fully automated trading is effective, experienced traders can sometimes benefit from manual adjustments based on market insight. If you have trading experience, feel free to adjust open trades to match your strategy. However, if you're new to trading, we strongly recommend letting Signova trade automatically without manual intervention.
No, and this is by design. Signova's trading logic generally does not rely on stop loss trailing. Once a trade is opened, its stop loss and take profit stay fixed. This keeps order handling simple, makes it possible to follow Signova's trades manually, and lets the system tolerate "off time" if Signova is ever inactive for a while. A fixed stop might seem suboptimal at first, but trailing a stop too tightly often closes a trade early and causes you to miss the eventual take profit. On average, results with and without trailing tend to even out, which is exactly why we deliberately keep the order handling simple and avoid stop loss trailing altogether.
Signova itself does not interfere with the trades of other Expert Advisors. The reverse, however, is not always true: another EA can interfere with Signova's positions or order handling. To be on the safe side, we recommend not running multiple EAs on the same account at the same time, unless the other EA is provably safe to combine with others.
Some of the strategies inside Signova trade on a short time horizon while others trade on a longer one. Even when the overall market is moving in one direction, the short-term picture can point the other way. This can lead to long and short trades being open on the same symbol at the same time. Because each trade has its own stop loss and take profit at completely different target prices, these opposing positions are perfectly fine and fully intentional.
Signova never updates itself silently. As soon as a new version is detected, Signova shows a consent prompt and waits for your approval before installing it. When you agree, it applies the update and restarts cleanly, so you decide when the new version takes effect. The current version is always displayed at the bottom of the application.
This application is designed to run one trading account per device. Each subscription includes 2 sessions, but only one session can be used per device. So to run your subscription on two trading accounts at the same time, you could, for example, use one on your VPS and another on your local machine. If you would like to increase the maximum number of sessions, or you are looking for a way to run more than one trading account, please contact us.
Nothing. Your trades are real positions placed directly with your broker, so they continue running there independently of Signova and your computer. If your PC restarts or Signova closes unexpectedly, just launch the application again and it will reconnect to your existing positions. You can also view and manage open trades manually inside MetaTrader at any time.
Open the activity log on the home screen. Every trade decision is recorded there together with the reason a trade was opened, modified, or skipped. Common reasons for a trade not being opened include the symbol not being part of your subscription tier, the maximum number of trades per symbol or in total already being reached, or your balance being below the minimum for your tier.
Open the subscription management area in your user profile on our website. From there you can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription at any time. Your access remains active until the end of the current billing period.
Yes. An active Signova subscription works with both Signova Desktop and Signova EA, so you can switch between them or use whichever fits your setup at any time, at no extra cost.
